Global is offering a cargo solution that gets parked aircraft back into revenue service in no time!

The damaging effect of COVID-19 on the airline industry is no secret. With profits plummeting, airlines are scrambling to make money as soon as possible. As a result, many are converting passenger cabins to carry cargo; in order to, transport medical supplies and other commercial goods. However, this forces airlines to obtain a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC), which can be time-consuming.

In our ongoing efforts to support customers during these challenging times, Global is offering an expedited cargo solution. Our team possesses the unique ability to provide a cabin-to-cargo conversion without obtaining an STC.

There are numerous configurations, but our approach consists of two main options. The first would remove all seats from the cabin, while the second option would strap cargo to the existing seats. In either solution, any number of seats can be removed or retained as long as it adheres to the published IATA, FAA, and EASA guidance.

“The primary benefit of working with Global is our responsiveness. Our talented team of engineers quickly produces quality data packages. Combined with our readily available program managers, we provide an experience that is not easily replicated by larger corporations,” stated Todd Hamblin, President and CEO of Global.

We understand that these are trying times for our industry. However, Global wants to ensure customers that we will continue to support their needs by diversifying their product offerings. In order to move forward, we must support one another. Global is here to do our part.
